Chilliwack is a predominantly agricultural community with an estimated population of 80,000 people. Chilliwack's mild climate with limited extremes provides excellent growing conditions for a wide variety of crops and agricultural products. Chilliwack's equestrian community has a wide range of programs and activities available for all. Chuckwagon and Chariot racing events are held frequently in Chilliwack, as well as barrel racing and horse shows.
